Job Description

DFS is seeking an experienced and motivated individual who will be responsible for building, testing and deploying global email and SMS push marketing campaigns using our marketing automation platform The role will report into the Senior Manager, Marketing Automation and work closely with peers in other centers of excellence The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic individual who is fluent in English, proficient in HTML and has previous experience of using email marketing software

Key Responsibilities:

• Learn and excel the marketing automation platform
• Keep track and understand new feature releases
• Analysis usability of new features towards existing campaigns and communicate with the team

• Understand the technical requirements and design the email and multi-channel journeys on the platform
• Edit HTML or AMPscript wherever customization is necessary
• Enable dynamic and personalized content for email campaigns based on different available attributes

• Conduct QA and review with internal teams and stakeholders for email campaigns
• Ensure email are setup as intended with all elements displaying correctly for both desktop and mobile devices
• Champion all email marketing and SMS campaigns and follow quality assurance processes to ensure on-time campaign delivery.

• Review sent campaigns daily to assess deliverability, performance and data cleanliness
• Work with the platform support team to ensure problems with the templates and data attributes on the platform are being resolved with quick turnarounds
• Work with CRM data and segmentation teams to ensure that all blocked, bounced data is updated on the system in real-time and data hygiene is maintained
• Effectively prioritize marketing requests based on company and marketing goals and manage expectations with different requesters
• Continuously review internal processes and optimize wherever necessary

• Attend campaign briefing meetings with the campaign managers and contribute to campaign ideas
• Review and analyze campaign performance to give constructive comments for future campaigns

Key Requirements:

• Knowledge and experience in email marketing
• Hands on experience in Email Marketing and Marketing Automation platforms/software (Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Adobe Marketing Cloud preferred)
• Fluency in English (Simplified or Traditional Chinese is a plus)
• Proficiency in HTML (knowledge of AMPscript is a plus)
• Understanding of CAN-SPAM requirements, mobile design best practices, and inbox deliverability
• Understanding the nuances of email deliverability to China is a plus
• Exposure to Microsoft Excel (including creating Pivot Tables/formulas) and PowerPoint.
• Excellent attention to detail is essential
• Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills required.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a cross-functional team.
• Willing and able to adjust to changing demands and shifting priorities; grace under fire a must with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent business writing, editing and proof-reading skills.
